Frequently Asked Questions
1.
I’m so busy now. Will I even be able to find the time to do the sessions?
That depends on where you want to be a year from now. A year from now, envision yourself feeling the same way you do now: overwhelmed, tired, resentful and lost. The only way that will change, is if you prioritize yourself and take the steps to change.
There is no perfect time; time will pass whether you do something or not. You have to decide – is your health and growth worth investing in? Will you wait forever for when the time is “right” to prioritize yourself?
I understand your realities, whether you’re working outside the home or you're a stay-at-home mom, because I’ve been both. I want you to know that investing in yourself will never be the wrong thing to do. If you show up to our sessions with an open heart, I’ve got you the rest of the way.
2.
I can’t find a private space to do our coaching sessions, and I don’t want my husband or kids to hear what I say. What do I do?
My clients have gotten super creative to carve out privacy for our sessions, and you can too! Whether it’s sitting in your car, the closet or bathroom, popping in your ear buds while you take a walk outside, my clients and I have always found a way to make it work.
3.
I feel guilty and selfish for wanting to do coaching. How do I explain to my husband that I want to invest in life coaching?
Coaching is all about timing. If you feel guilty or selfish about wanting to invest in coaching, you may not be ready yet. That’s because when you do eventually get to a place of complete readiness, you won't feel that you have to explain why you need help or to “ask” permission; rather, you'll feel comfortable letting your husband know that this is what you need in order to be the best version of yourself. As your partner he needs to hear that, so that he can provide meaningful support as well. If you’re not ready to start coaching, I encourage you to check out The Balanced Mom Blueprint to help you with your time management and household systems.
